As part of Elite's rigorous investment programme for 2016 a key objective has been to expand our already industry leading polythene conversion capabilities.

Being one of the leading manufacturers of both plain and printed mailing bags in the UK we produce tens of millions of them in the short built up to Christmas for a large number of the UK's leading online and high street retailers. The Christmas orders for mailing bags are already flowing in and now at this time of year many of our extrusion, printing and conversion lines become dedicated to the 24/7 production of mailing bags in order to meet the huge spike in demand for Mailing Bags that results from Christmas.

The innovative polythene that we have named "Quatro" uses next generation polymers that are produced at  a state of the art plant using Spherilene Technology that results in a polymer with unparalleled levels of capability, performance and cost effectiveness. 

The greenest polythene available on the market today. This polythene is carbon positive, sustainable and recyclable, Through utilising the latest polymer technologies we can now replace the finite resource of oil with the sustainable resource of sugarcane. We've teamed up with leading petrochemical giant Braskem to be able to offer this innovative polythene to all of our customers within the UK & Ireland.

Hereford City Sports Under 8's went into this tournament knowing it was going to be tough with 9 teams taking part which included all of the counties big name clubs. It was also the first 7 a-side tournament that the team had taken part in as the structure now changes from 5 a-side to 7 for this age group. Hereford City Sports got out of their group and through the knockout stages to the final where they played the tournament hosts, Ledbury Swifts. Hereford City Sports put in a fine performance to win the final 3-1 in normal time making an excellent start to the new season.

The new kit carries the company name and logo on the front of the shirt and it has been fully funded and supplied by Elite Plastics as we wish them the best of luck for the upcoming 2015/2016 season.
